New Delhi: The last rites of Malayalam cinema legend Srinivasan took place at his residence in Kandanad at 10 am today near his home in Kandanad, Ernakulam. After his death, his cremation is being done at this place. His mortal remains were earlier kept in the Ernakulam Town Hall for the public to mourn.

Srinivasan died on 20 December 2025 at Thripunithura Hospital in Kochi after a prolonged illness. He was 69 years old and was recognized as a versatile artist and creative force in Malayalam cinema.
